Formal assessments
I am trained and experienced in assessing adults for autism and ADHD, and can offer single or combined assessments. I also have experience in neuropsychological testing and other forms of psychological assessment, profiling and diagnosis – if you’d like to discuss this please contact me.
Practical information
If you come to me for an autism or ADHD assessment, we may decide to have an initial screening appointment to discuss the process, and if necessary to obtain authorisation from your insurer. Then we will arrange a number of appointments to complete the assessment, and I will also ask you to complete a set of forms and questionnaires. On the basis of this information, I will come to a conclusion about whether or not you meet the diagnostic criteria, and we will have a feedback appointment to discuss this, as well as to answer any questions you might have.
I will provide you with a detailed report of the assessment, and if you have a received a diagnosis, I will also give you a brief “to whom it may concern” letter which you can use in situations where you need to provide confirmation of your diagnosis but don’t wish to share the full report.
Pricing
I am insured to work with people ordinarily resident in the UK, and am a registered provider for BUPA, Modern Health and WPA. I also work with self-funding clients.
A 50-minute appointment for pre-assessment screening or post-diagnostic support costs £110.
A full assessment for autism, with a detailed report and a feedback session, costs £1500. An ADHD assessment costs £1200. A joint assessment for both autism and ADHD costs £1800.
